That's the right decision, because App/UL was a Wednesday game, the Cajuns were looking at having 3 weeks off for no reason.

Yeah strictly for personal reasons a 1pm start would be ideal for me but 11 is not bad either.

Other than having to prepare a week earlier, I don't think moving it is a big concern. We just had a bye week on 9/27 so putting off our second bye week a little longer until 10/17 is better overall.

Center of the cone is showing a landfall around Houma, if it hits there or anywhere further east, Lafayette won't see much of anything but a strong breeze and the occasional shower. The biggest issue that could prevent the game from happening here in Lafayette will be either a more westward track and/or travel complications with you guys trying to get here during a impending tropical event.

It sounds bad to say this as you don't wish a hurricane on anyone, but the current center of the cone may be the best scenario. Southwest Louisiana just got ****** by Laura and ditto for the West Florida panhandle and South Alabama with Sally. Both of those areas absolutely do not need another hurricane coming through.
