Nesbitt, Camden and Minott, let's add Sam Ayomide Onu and call it a class (top 10)
6'6", 6'7", 6'8"...6'11" (Camden says he's 7')
Just heard Camden talk about why he picked Memphis. Well worth the listen. He says Sam Ayomide Onu will be in the NBA. And he should know, Sam lives with him.
2 things I really like about this recruiting class is the length and that these guys expect to play in the NBA, but will most probably play several years for the Tigers. I hope one is so good he leaves early, but all really high level 4 year players. Green, Wiseman and Hampton have taught our coach a lesson. He absolutely wants his players in the NBA, but he wants a championship for Memphis even more.

Just looked through 247's player rankings, although Ayomide Onu is at #103, the articles about him lead me to believe he'll crack the top 100 soon. 4 players in the top 100! The only other AAC school in there is UCONN, and they're gone, gone, gone. The AAC must have decided Tubby's recruiting style is the way to go. I sure wish Cincy or Houston or WSU or somebody would recruit a little better.

We have to consistently beat them first or them to want to recruit better. Besides I could argue that Houston guards were better than ours at creating shots for themselves or others than our guards. Houston will play small this year and Greg Marshall recruited better athletes to compete in the AAC. It won't be a cakewalk but we can now compete to win the league.

Yeah... Houston's 3 star recruits were head and shoulders better than most of our 4-star recruits last year.

I could have sworn we split with Houston last year with all our freshmen. Houston has 3 more 3 stars coming in next year, so I guess we'll find out.

Yeah we split but Caleb Mills and Marcus Sasser absolutely looked better than all our guards besides Lester thoughout the year. Mills was probably the 2nd best freshman in the conference

The problem with recruiting rankings is they are often tailored towards a players so called NBA potential and physical attributes. A 5'11" guard with mediocre athleticism and scoring ability won't rake high but could be polished enough to murder college comp.

True dat. Adonis was ranked number 1 based on his pro potential not his current skill level.
16.....guessing we lose at least 5 of the above in some fashion.
Landers and Moussa are most likely one and dones.
Landers almost went this summer but honored his transfer commitment to Penny, which is rare for a player to do in these days.
DJ and Williams will be testing the water as well. Maybe Boogie. And there usually us a transfer or two. I feel like we will have 4-6 openings next year.

Yet he failed to live up to either. Sad how that turned out.

Hardaway doesn't count - 15
Moussa - 14
Nolley/DJ or both 13/12
And Williams is like 30 (24 in 3 days) so he may leave as well.
Yeah I think thats the most likely list.. im more than a little skeptical of Cisse being a 1 and done. Big men who are defensive specialists dont really fly up draft boards these days
