I think it’s six foot between groups is the limiting factor.

So "14 days to flatten the curve" has turned into a multi-year lockdown (until the Governor takes care of it).

I don't see anything in there about a lock down. The way I read that it's saying until we have a vaccine be prepared to wear a mask and social distance...that sounds reasonable.

Under penalty of ”law”. And if your private business doesn’t enforce it she will shut you down and destroy your livelihood.

if you have a private business then you have a business license and you have to agree to follow the rules if you want that license.

asking folks to wear a mask to enter a store isn't exactly tyranny

And then a health director was given power to make new rules and shut down businesses who didn’t comply.

Much like with the school merger nonsense, I have a feeling some state laws are about to be changed. There's already some back channel communication going on between local mayors and GOP in Nashville. Its not just in Shelby where there's overbearing rules. Davidson and some of the surrounding areas there as well.

I guess it could be worse when you see this moron Deblasio and his shutting NYC down again w/ red zones, orange zones, police enforcing mask ordinances, etc. Just so stupid, but hey, that's what Dem control looks like.

And that guy in California that reminded people eating at restaurants to put their masks back on between bites.

Well, sure. Because that makes as much sense as having to wear a mask inside Kroger and Mapco, but being able to take it off in a restaurant or at your office. By all means, we should definitely scrap the electoral college so all those living packed like sardines in NYC and California can tell the rest of us how to live.

California ranks 17th in population density, Tennessee 26th.

But by all means, people living in BFE should have a greater voting impact just because they choose to live there.

Oh boy. Speaking of the abolishment of the Electoral College, isn't is great that the mandate is lowered to 6ft? How many here chose to donate their tickets and will now be able attend?

Probably not all. But this won't be enough to save all 19.
Still, it does speak to the lack of accountability for the Ministry of Health.
Today, we have Lee Harris on there talking about the overall welfare of students. While they have schools LOCKED DOWN.

You're being insincere.
There are definite lockdowns.
Bar counters are locked down.
Restaurants are locked down at midnight.
Schools and extra-curricular activities are locked down.
Tiger Lane is locked down.
Not sure if Riverside Drive is still locked down on weekends, but I'm betting it is.
They are still doing far more than "asking folks to wear a mask".

Greater voting impact? Hardly. California has more electors than 15 other states combined. Add New York to that, and you're almost to half the states.

But yes, there should be a voting impact from places other than the 5 largest cities.

The figures are dated, but the concept remains.

Compare the smallest state, Wyoming, with the largest.

US Population Density Per Incorporated Area

I always laugh whenever I am about to respond to you because the results are always the same.

Out of the top 50 most densely incorporated areas in the US...
17 New Jersey
12 California
7 New York
4 Illinois
4 Florida
3 Massachusetts
1 Pennsylvania
1 Kentucky
1 Rhode Island

No city in Tennessee ranks in the top 133. Nice try though...again.

Uhh, nothing I said was a lie.

California ranks 17, Tennessee 26.

You're the one who brought another variable.
