There was a hearing today on the Flynn case.

Turley says there is a lifetime reputation hanging in the balance-Sullivan's. And that Sullivan's prosecutor already destroyed his.

"...Gleeson was reversed as a judge for usurping the position of prosecutors in a case that involved a bank, in which the Second Circuit knocked him for magnifying his role in a way that “would be to turn the presumption of regularity on its head.” Gleeson filed a brief calling for the court to reject the motion and order the jailing of someone who prosecutors maintained was not properly charged in the first place.

His brief was filled with heated rhetoric and attacks on the “accusation of government misconduct.” It drew a sharp rebuke from an appellate panel for relying “on news, tweets, and other facts outside the record to contrast the government’s grounds for dismissal here with its rationales for prosecution in other cases....” "

Sulivan is going to drag this out as long as possible, but he's effectively already been told by the appeals court ruling allowing his hearings, that if he tries to be a prosecutor he will be overrulled (and almost certainly suffer an embarrassing stern rebuke by the superior court).
