Just watching a ball game or something he can get triggered. There is no such thing as no after effects of a stroke. Especially for someone who has had 2.

This is what happened to may father 10 years before his death. He suffered a series of TMI's that were very mild in nature. The only deficit was memory related. The first one caused him to completely lose an entire day. He had no idea what happened to him and came out of it watching a ball game and called me to come over. He just said "something is wrong with me". He could not tell you the day, time or anything for about 2 days. From that point onward he was put on blood thinners to control the TMIs but he slowly fell into dementia over the next 10 years until he had a massive stroke that took his life...thankfully.

I’m sorry to read this. I know how difficult it is watching a love one slowly slip away.
