A lot of people didn't see out offense last year and didn't realize 1) we were 6-2 and beat Tennessee and Army before Ellington got hurt 2) still finished #12 in rushing nationally after our QB blew out his ACL and 3) returned most of that offense in 2020.

But oh well. Keep doubting Brad Glenn and that offense.

That was an impressive win. I know ECU hasn't been very good in a few years, but it still looked good beating them that bad.

I'm not seeing a lot on their roster that passes the eye test on the field for what they should be doing. You don't fix a bad roster in one year.

Not disagreeing with RM firing but you can also see it with historical G5 power, USM. With new FBS programs popping up in their recruiting backyard, the Eagles no longer have the recruiting prowess they once had before USA, TxSt and UTSA came on the FBS scene to soak up 66-190 scholarship athletes, depending on how you measure.

(Good performance by State even considering.)

There is plenty of talent still out there even with the new IA programs within the last 10-12 years. Saying that is just an excuse for those programs. If that was legit then programs like Marshall, UAB and Troy should have been hit too. But those programs are in good to great shape.

Thats an understatement. ECU is 13-37 since firing McNeil. And Houston has never had to rebuild a team. Guess they will find out in a year or 2 if he actually can or is he someone that just plays off of others recruiting work.

Really if you're ECU you need 8 to 10 from NC and then you recruit VA, SC, TN, FL and GA for the rest.

We might have found the starter at FS for next 4-5 years...

When a true freshman sets the tone for how physical the entire defense plays, that's impressive. The difference is night and day from last year to this year. The new defensive back coach deserves a lot of credit as well. We just look so physical and aggressive this year, I love it.
