People do realize the sole purpose of this one and done fall game was a scout showcase game for Trey Lance, right? Absent that scenario, NDSU wouldn't have scheduled the game.

Just read that the reasoning playing this game was the increase of hours they were permitted to practice, not showcasing a QB for 2 game.

It certainly was for the showcase, he’s already announced he’s opting out to go and train for the draft.
