USF has had a weird draw. It's gone from bad FCS to two contenders (ND and Cincinnati). It's hard to judge how they'll fare against the typical AAC program.

I wouldn’t call Cincy a typical AAC program. They have players and coaches on par with high-middle P5 programs.

Unless, of course, you’re referring to the teams they’ll face after Cincy.

MY LINE: ECU 34-30 ECU bounces back with a better performance. That said, I think there is merit to off time Ga St has had before playing ECU and thus they might have a preparation edge.

Honestly the constant excuses from media or fans about how bad off Mo left us, how thin we are, how young we are, how inexperienced we are, having to shut down practice twice because of Covid, blah, blah, blah is getting old.
We get it, Mo sucked but it's time to stop making excuses and get it turned around. We obliterated Cincy in Fickell's first year and they won 11 games his second. UCF goes winless then turns around and go 6-7 the very next year.

We cannot afford to lose to a Sun Belt team who's 16-22 in the last 4 years. I dont expect unrealistic results in his 2nd year of a rebuild but I do expect to be a lot better than we looked last weekend.

REALITY SAID: Ga St 49-29 Uggh. We started out good with a pick 6 then the D took the rest of the half off. ...And so did the offense, except they took the whole game off. I mean, we scored three TDs NOT FROM THE OFFENSE! I think Coach Houston is going to have to better figure out how to work with what he does have instead of forcing round pegs into square holes.
