This is Ferguson's game. Hope to get Willis back as soon as possible.

North Alabama should be a comfortable win. After them is Louisiana-Monroe, one of the worst teams. I think we can afford to miss Willis for two weeks. Losing either of those two would be more on the rest of the team than just the QB.

Well if Malik is out there’s no telling what we will look like. Should still win comfortably but you never know with a completely different type of QB..

It's my understanding that Willis won a close QB competition that was settled right before the season. Now that may just be coach speak and it may be that we didn't want to tell who our starting QB was so WKU couldn't prepare for him but Freeze made our offense work well last season without the mobile QB he traditionally recruits.

Based on everything we've seen, it looks like we are 3-strong at QB w Malik, Ferguson, & Bennett. Obviously only a full game can really tell us how true that is, but man, if we had to lose Malik for a game or two, this was just the right stretch of games, as noted by GE_and_MTS.

Willis will apparently start on Saturday.

Sloppy performance by us and we got lucky with a lot of mistakes by UNA (thanks!). At least a bad game didn't keep us from losing so silver linings!
