Even if they were 0-2 they would be better off than we are.

I think it is great that Liberty is playing football. Hats off to them and a good decision on their part. They are the third best FBS team in the state of Virginia. I saw some great college football yesterday. Great to see teams out there on the field.

LOL Monarx i get where you going with this but FB prestige and ODU/Liberty doesn't belong in the same sentence. They can beat all CUSA teams as much as they want and no talking head will make a big deal about it since well we are G5 it means zilch in the national media. If they start beating P5's on a consistent basis, that is when we should pay more attention until then relax. I will never forgive Bobby Buttfucking Wilder for what he has done that ******** should not go anywhere close to coaching FBS teams and some of our fans were like lets give this guy one more season and see what he does smfh.

It's ironic to read these posts and think back to 2014. I remember reading JMU's boards back then. Half their fans lamented as we soared past them in relevancy, and the other half chimed in "So what? Have they ever beaten Virginia Tech?"

That's how human mind works feels better doesn't it. Anyways i hate the fact that we had to make the leap the way we did but i can't really blame Wood/Broderick. We weren't prepared financially for that and having a rinky dink coach and stadium didn't help either.

P.S. i am not sure who you are referring to when you said "soared past" but beating us and FIU at their home and winning at WKU arent exactly the parameters that qualify that statement.

Liberty was beating down Southern Miss 35 to 7 at the half. Southern Miss is making it a game now 28-35 in the 3rd.

USM looked liked trash again this season and they might not even regain their past glory and from what i read on the forum looks like a bunch of players were out and of course i am not taking anything away from Luhbutty because they played way better than USM in every aspect of the game.
