A thread to discuss all the games, not necessarily the "laughable" ones.

The three most intriguing games of the day for me are:

Army vs Cincy .... Many are touting Army, but Cincy plays Navy more years than not so there is knowledge about how to defense the option. In contrast, Navy will be at the same athletic disadvantage they faced vs BYU.

LSU vs Mississippi State .... This is a rivalry game, LSU has played MST 113 times, more than any other team, and its MST's second-most played game. IMO, the 17 point spread is too high given all of LSU's uncertainties. Not only that, Leach has a stud QB. This is my Upset Special.

West Virginia vs Oklahoma State .... While the rest of the B12 struggle, WV cruised in their opener. Most seem to like Oklahoma State to bounce back strong from their anemic win over Tulsa. I don't see it.

BTW, I have SO much confidence in these picks that I would NEVER actually bet them, LOL. I do not bet on football, and I do not advise anyone to lay cash down on these picks. Anyway, let's kick this thing off !!!!

Between Leach and Kiffin and now Deion at JSU, the state of Mississippi has the coaching interest at a pretty high level.

OMG Georgia Southern had a sure tying TD and fumbled the ball through the end zone.

Kansas State has come way back, Oklahoma leads 35-28

Georgia Southern scores a touchdown, makes the 2 point conversion, leads Lafayette 18-17 with less than a minute to go.

Kansas State has tied Oklahoma at 35 late 4th quarter.

Lafayette makes a 53 yard FG at the buzzer!
