What sort of information are you looking for that hasn't already been aired out online or in last night's listening session?
Not referencing this particular article. Moreso about reporting on TA in general. I usually read a lot of fluff when it comes to TA, and, I know there's another side to the story.
I'm looking for some media outlet to trek outside of what's popular within the confines of Tribe Athletics.
Q1: Mr. Daly, will you discuss the days or weeks leading to your dismissal? There are whispers that Samantha Huge leads by intimidation; will you speak to that?
Q2: Director Huge, you were hired, to an extent, because of your past fundraising wizardry. Please, explain why Tribe Athletics, under your supervision, has experienced financial hardship & deficit unlike anything in W&M history.
Q3: Matt Crispino, you are a legend at W&M, both as a student-athlete and coach. What, exactly, led to your decision to move on from the university you love?
These are just a few off-the-cuff questions and probably not helpful for retaining media credentials. But, my position is, someone needs to step outside their comfort zone. For the record, the Flat Hat "reporter" asked Samantha some tough questions at the Town Hall meeting and Samantha looked outraged. I haven't heard from that reporter since.
Dozens of former employees are out there and they have a real story to tell. May be worth probing.
