The 1984 Election
Were people expecting it to be a blowout like it was?

Were the polls tight?

@pollsworthless

I have never been polled to my recollection. But, right now if I was I would tell them Joe, and vote for Trump - OR I would say undecided.

RE: The 1984 Election
I was 18 and couldn't wait for my first election to get in there and throw that lever for Reagan.

So did all my friends.

As a matter of fact, same as with those having covid19, I don't know a single person that voted for Fritzi.

I get called by pollsters fairly often. I think it’s because I still have a land line and I live in Ohio. Sometimes I speak with them,’but mostly I don’t. It’s interesting to hear all the questions and how they’re worded. I am usually honest and ask them to rephrase questions that are ambiguous. How they reword them tells you the answer they are looking for and which side they favor.

to your point, they know not to call the 'sip....

that's why they only poll states with an electorate that can flip....

The polls showed Reagan in the lead. But not by 18 points. More like 8-9-10.

Gallup had it 59% to 41%, they were off by 0.2%
