RE: Rating the AAC
I think Tulsa has as good a defense as UC. I don't think you have as good an offense though. Anything can happen in one game though. Make it ugly and I think you can beat them. Just my opinion.

ucf eliminated from conference title.. I believe UC has clinched 1 of the 2 championship spots
the other spot is down to tulsa, memphis, houston, and smu.. it is unclear if navy is still in the running
navy has one less conference game so not sure how tie breakers will work...how will their 5-2 be graded against a 6-2 or a 5-3
--Tulsa controls its destiny- win 2 of the last 3 games (houston, navy and Cincinnati) they clinch
-- Houston has to win out (memphis, smu, and tulsa) and have Tulsa lose to cincy
-- Navy win out (memphis, tulsa), cincy beat tulsa, houston & smu lose atleast 1---- but unclear if they are eligible
-- memphis wins out (navy tulane houston) then; 1) tulsa losses out, 2) tulsa losses 2 of the 3 .. whoever got tulsa's second loss (navy or houston) must finish higher than smu...
-- smu wins out , have tulsa lose out....or if navy's 5-2 is equivalent to tulsa/smu's 6-2 (meaning navy beat tulsa)...lots of scenario but most have smu winning the 3 way tie ..smu beat memphis who'll likely the next highest ranked team
It is conference record - winning percentage.
So 5-2 > 5-3 but 5-2 < 6-2
Math is as math does.
This is not the Navy team we want to represent the west. Not this year. I love ya SLH but not this year. I've only seen a few games with this years team, but they looked awful.
This is not the same Navy team that kicked our ass every year. Maybe they make a miraculous recovery but how do you recover from 95-10 combined to BYU and Air Force? This is easily the worst Navy team since you joined the AAC.
There is no West this year. No East, either. And Navy hasn't kicked our ass every year. :)
No, but the years they did kick our ass, is what I'm comparing this years Navy to. This years team ain't those Navy teams. Not even close.

It's still up in the air, but clearly Cincy and Tulsa have the inside track with the tie-breakers. But SMU and Houston could still make it if they win out.
With one more win, Tulsa is in. (They own the tie-breaker with SMU)

over smu.. memphis , whoever wasnt the win (houston or navy) would still have a shot
also like i noted, navy vs usf was cancelled becuase of USF (not navy) a game navy was heavily favored to win...there is a chance they might view navys 5-2 the same as smu/tulsa 6-2.. if that is the case...in a 3 way tie between all 3 of you (no head to head advantage, the most likely tie breaker would be who beat memphis, aka smu)

if navy is 5-2, that means navy beat memphis also

yes, but it would remove tulsa from the 3way, and make it a head to head.. thus smu would have head to head over navy

Hoop Junkies don’t know much about football.
Neural field you are betting Tulsa right now vs UCF?
Tulsa hasn’t looked good in while
ECU game was a gift. Miracle to beat Tulane
Tulsa was a better team when they played UCF than they are now
I will be rooting for Tulsa to beat Houston but i don’t think they will
I may look like an idiot but I think Cincy has there way with Tulsa

Considering Tulsa beat them at their place? Yeah. We haven't looked good all year but the Hurricane just keep winning
Tbh it worries me because we might be dumb and extend Monty based on these most outlier of outliers of a season.

This is a little bit ridiculous. Forget the “neural” field. They played at UCF’s field and Tulsa won. No need to speculate.

Tulsa's defense has been playing lights out since we got everyone healthy after ECU. SMU barely scored. They held Tulane scoreless for 2.5 quarters and finally gave up a couple when our 2nd string quarterback couldn't move the offense. The offense has started out slow in every game but they've picked it up when we've needed them and that's with multiple injuries to guys like our starting QB, our #1 wideout. An OL or two... etc... Tulsa has been winning games they shouldn't win despite how many injuries we've had to deal with.
Also, keep in mind that we held UCF to fewer points than Cincinnati did and Cincy only scored 2 more than we did. Houston is a rivalry game so it's going to be tough no matter what, but we're in the best shape of anybody besides Cincy to get to the championship game.
