RE: Rating the AAC
FWIW & obviously it's still early but Sagarin has it like this right now:

1) Tulsa (15)
2) UCF (22)
3) UH (43)
4) SMU (53)
5) Memphis (56)
6) Cincy (61)
7) ECU (94)
8) Tulane (99)
9) Navy (118)
10) Temple (129)
11) USF (154)

http://sagarin.com/sports/cfsend.htm

Disproportionately low rankings for Cincy & SMU compared to apparent value for some reason.

You lost me with Cincinnati at 6. And ECU at 7. I mean anything can happen this year but............

Yeah, runs counter to public perception for sure. I'm hoping ECU will be middle of the pack by seasons end. Also, Sagarin has little value this early, particularly with the vast disparity of games played by each team due to covid.

RE: Rating the AAC
Those Sagarin ratings must be highly influenced by SOS. Best wins so far are Tulsa, SMU, and UCF. Sorry UC, that Army win has lost its glitter. The top 6 (UC, SMU, UCF, Tulsa, Memphis and UH) will start to sort themselves out this weekend... The AAC really needs UH to beat BYU to gain some more credibility.
The next 4 remain dangerous with a good game.
And then there's USF.

This looks about right to me. Might flip SMU and Tulsa because of SMU's injuries, but it's a close call.

RE: Rating the AAC
1) Tulsa (They played Big 12 leader OSU tough instead of rolling SFA or APSU. King of the hill in conference)
2) SMU (This week is a big deal)
3) Cindy (easiest schedule of the top 3, this week decides if they belong in the top 3)
4) UCF (tough putting them this low. Road win at Memphis would put them back near top)
5) Memphis (like UCF, would put them both in top 4 if SMU rolls)
6) Houston (who knows where they actually belong on this)
7) Temple (tough first game. I think they'll be their usual Temple)
8) Navy (one of those teams that turning it around now makes the conference look bad. They have ECU, so it is what it is)
9) Tulane (hate putting them this low because, unlike Navy, they handled their OOC as expected)
10) ECU (Don't get confused. Still terrible)
11) Green UConn

I agree with this. It seems to be based on performance this season, not past seasons or expectations.

We need one more good game before I'm sold that UCF wasn't a fluke. OSU was ok, but we fell apart when we shouldn't have.
