P.S Having lived in Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh for few years i saw how horrible it can be for southern folk to drive on Ice that day. Apocalyptic scenes that day here in ATL.

Do your "missing" linemen have COVID, or are they simply waiting for some COVID test results, etc...? (I'm just curious.)
Specifically what it means is that 2 weeks ago 2 linemen had a positive COVID test, but 5 other linemen were contact traced to have been near them, so those 5 went into quarantine before the App game. All 7 are now cleared to play because quarantine ended after 2 weeks.
After the App game another lineman had a positive COVID test. He was contact traced to the remaining 10 linemen, so those 10 linemen are now in quarantine till Monday, when all 11 will be free to rejoin the team, assuming no positive tests.
Assuming no positive tests is the hard part. My father is in a nursing home and had COVID, was asymptomatic but took about 6 weeks to test out.

The bad part (football-wise) is that the one positive test happened on or around the 14th and their have been no other positive tests, but the guys who were around positive people have to quarantine due to state and conference protocols.
I’m glad they are being cautious, but the football fan in me wonders if this is much ado about not to much.
It's not. There are positives that are symptomatic and those that are asymptomatic like my Dad. There are players who have had symptoms who are still experiencing muscle weakness and fatigue days and weeks after testing out negative. It's inconvenient but it's people's lives and it IS just football.

Please stop with the "people's lives" comment. We're not talking about your dad, or my parents. We're talking about young, athletic, college age people. My question wasn't about people from high risk categories......god knows we've heard enough about that. To the contrary, my question was about young people who are NOT in high risk categories. Since they obviously aren't dying and aren't getting sick, I was just curious about what was causing the delays in their return to the grid iron.

We had a freshman QB who was positive. (Respect the Bubble folks), symptomatic and caused a temporary heart condition.
Try not to get upset about science.

Yes, we have several phases left. One of two stadiums to ever to host a MLB World Series, an Olympics opening and closing ceremony and College Football. Pretty spectacular in person.

Panama doesn’t get the joke. And it’s hilarious.
FWIW, really glad this worked out the way it did. We were hurting substantially more than Healy let on earlier in the week. Would have been down 20-30 guys from the 2 deep. Y’all would have nuked us with a semi healthy group, no question. Hope we can get these guys out of quarantine before FAU.
This Covid crap sucks gentleman.
