Great job EMU, this young man deserves a chance at the life that was stolen from him. Continually impressed with Coach Creighton and this program. I can't imagine what this kid went through.

I'm starting to watch Outcry. I watch a lot of shows like that and the EMU spin on this one will make it more interesting.

I'm assuming Neathery is the connection. Kelley originally committed to UTSA where Neathery was coaching at the time.

Neal must have been thoroughly impressed with him as a quality young man. UTSA is hardly a landing place for NFL prospects and the long layoff hardly enhances his prospects. Still proud that my alma mater would give him a chance.

Actually I don't have a problem with recruiting a questionable athlete at times, if they are contrite about previous behavior. They just need to know that they are under a microscope and that ANY behavioral issues will result in them shown the door.

I binged Outcry. This young man has a had a helluva journey. Seems like a really solid guy and a perfect fit for a CC team. Also seems like a physically advanced athlete. If he can shake off the rust I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the 2-deep this season at Hoying's position.

While he lacks the comparable playing experience, at 25 he has some of the physical aspects of an NFL player in his prime (I've heard the term "man-body" used). And it sounds like he has been doing some high-quality training since he's been exonerated, so he will definitely be interesting to watch.
