It's going to be a dogfight in the West. I think WMU, Toledo, Ball State and CMU could all win it, assuming CMU finds at least a somewhat competent QB. I don't see NIU or EMU winning the West, but honestly anything is possible, especially this year. All it takes is for a handful of guys to be sidelined with positive tests or contact tracing and it becomes a whole new ball game.

We *should* be getting David Moore back at QB as his year long suspension will be up by the time the season starts. He's by far the best option we have at the position. I guess that's one benefit to the delayed/shortened season. At this time, I couldn't even make a guess who has the best chance to win the West. I won't be shocked to see a a 4-2 team take the West.

Sounds official. I just hope it was the right decision. If they had said holding off till spring, I would've been disappointed, but understood

Now the wait for the schedule! Go Broncos

I have to admit, it's tough to get up for this at the moment, just six games for the seniors, but that's probably because it's been an exhausting Friday, but this is a better decision than the Spring!

Gonna be a long October!

Sounds like the whole conference is back.

I think we should push 4-2, but see 3-3. Everyone in West will be tough, tho I'm still not sold on Ball St.

Say, beat NIU, EMU, BSU, then one of CMU/the East opponent & that's 4. So L's to Toledo & CMU or the East opponent

Yeah, they're back!! Nov 4th-7th opening weekend, not Oct 24th, for 6 games instead of 8. That's fine by me. I'd rather be Friends w/ Benefits with a hottie than nothing at all!

I'm as excited as ever and will be cheering for our Broncos with the same gusto as always.

Also, don't lament for the seniors. This season does NOT count against eligibility. I'm not sure how that's all going to work, or how many seniors will return given the opportunity. It will be interesting to watch unfold.

Hopefully with only 6 games and no fans they can figure out some decent t.v. coverage.

Well I think we have deals with ESPN & CBSSN. I think it'll depend how booked they are that'll delegate which games go to ESPN3. & how they schedule the games.

We already know there won't be NBA till January so that could open some slots.

Someone who's been arguing the team should play saying it's 'tough to get up for this at the moment'

Gonna be some cold November and December games! Wonder if Ford Field and the Colts stadium could host a couple December games? Having a hard time getting fired up about this right now but I know it’ll all come back when that first game actually happens! So who our MAC East opponent? Somehow I think we’ll end up playing the Bulls in Buffalo.

They're kicking it off with the start of Wednesday night (and Tues night) games -- so that gets TV coverage. Not many fans there anyway, so will there be a difference, really? Really? :)

Maybe by Nov they'll allow Some fans in there in the MAC stadiums. It's not like they'll need grandioso security to keep too many people from coming in! LOL

Just being honest about my emotional state, watching LSU play now with fans in the stands, and we get six games with no fans. I’m hopeful I get more excited when we get closer.

General 2020 exhaustion, I imagine.

Overall enthusiasm for all sports (college and pro) is going to be watered down compared to normal, given how unrecognizable it all is.

I never miss a #MACtion game in the stands at Waldo... It stinks not to be able to watch our football team in person, rather than listening to some random ESPN announcer read off the show notes, mispronouncing players' names and pontificating about Lester playing in the XFL.
