Aside from that being one of the most asinine posts on this forum, if the affected school(s) doesn't play enough it won't be "by the luck of the draw" and that's the problem, blockhead. CUSA could have done something about this by thinking ahead. They could have done something when ODU bailed. They can do something now but, being week 3 of the season, they've tied and twisted their own hands so all of the limited options available now are unpalatable to everyone.

Take it easy Francis you sound hysterical.

You know you guys have no chance unless Marshall is ineligible and WKU falls apart which seems like they did. So you come up with a stupid post.

I never said anything about the previous years. You don’t have the same coach or QB so your post was dumb.

We won’t have to worry about FAU if their players don’t see stop licking handrails.

sounds like ODU and Rice really messed around with some people's schedules.

also sounds like those cats in Murfreesboro and San Antonio made a smart decision

Here’s the thing, though. Back in, say, June, everyone knew that even IF the season was played there were going to be scheduling issues all over. But CUSA announced that they were prepared to work with member schools as issues emerged.

Nah, I’m kidding. They said, and apparently did, nothing except say “our member schools can do what they want.”

When ODU made their decision and Rice made their’s, the adjustments as regards deciding division champs were considered by CUSA and announced for all parties to adjust.

Nah, I’m kidding again.

So who do I blame? Administrations making what they thought were the best paths for the health of their players, or CUSA offices that have been doing...well, I don’t know. Playing Backgammon? Setting up the cubicles for laser tag?

-- How many players have died from COVID so far? Oh, none? That's what I thought.

-- Have any players even been sick from COVID? I mean seriously flu-like sick or worse? That's what I thought.

This is much less about "player health" and much more about adhering to absurd testing protocols and government (or NCAA) mandates. And now, I'm honestly starting to believe it's becoming a GREAT EXCUSE to cancel games with teams who are poised to whip your tail. 03-lmfao

FAU are the Kings of CUSA until someone knocks them off. Yes, they’re 1-6 against us, but they have beaten the teams that we didn’t when we had the chance.

I just had an aunt die from COVID. My mother’s best friend died just this past weekend from COVID. Both women suffered a lot of pain that peaked just before they passed mercifully quickly. If I had my wish, I would have voted for some preventative measure that spared them, wherever it was contracted. So, you know, FU. And I’ll let you respond as you please you ignorant *******. I won’t argue.

Is there any chance our conference amends this plan?

Highly unlikely anyone plays out a full 8 game schedule.

So teams without a winning record can go bowling if they play a game or two but can't compete for our conference championship regardless of their ranking or standing. That sounds about right.

If not, what happens to UAB and Marshall?

We will tell you after the game.

Sorry, couldn't resist a Biden impression.

We currently are still scheduled for six games, the last six from the original schedule. The team is practicing and just a couple of days ago the starting QB was named. It was also announced that the MTSU game would be played in an empty stadium.

I think actually, it will turn out to be a week by week decision. JMHO

A lot of Rice fans are not happy with things as they are, but none of us are movers and shakers.

Just to keep it on topic, which college football game led to their deaths? That’s the discussion here, personal tragedy is sad,’but not relevant to the discussion.

Unless your Aunt and your mothers best friend were in their early 20's, in good health and playing football in CUSA, there's no relevance to the discussion. Oh, and screw you too, you stupid tool. You're so frickin rude I don't even feel sorry for you.

Back to the topic at hand: so if all scheduled games are actually played, what will be the average # of games played for each division at season's end?
