RE: Seattle Murderer makes Clean Getaway
Remember when the Mayor of Seattle told Chris Cuomo of CNN that the whole CHAZ-drama was going to provide her city with a “Summer of Love”?
What a fool.

RE: Seattle Murderer makes Clean Getaway
Quote:SEATTLE -- A woman was found murdered at Seattle's Cal Anderson Park and the man suspected in her slaying has been identified as Travis Berge, a habitual offender who was engaged in an hours-long standoff with police that spanned the overnight and stretched into Thursday morning.
Seattle Police offices were called to the Capitol Hill park around 8 p.m. to help Seattle Fire medics who were performing CPR on an unconscious woman. When they arrived, they found the medics had declared the woman dead. Investigators said the woman was slain although they did not provide an official cause of death.
Sources told KOMO News that the woman had been fatally stabbed. Multiple sources, including the suspect's mother, confirmed to KOMO News that the alleged killer was Berge, who has been profiled in the past by KOMO News and has more than 35 arrests and multiple convictions. He has told KOMO News in the past the he knew how to beat the criminal justice system.
As paramedics were trying to revive the woman, said to be Berge's girlfriend, police received a call that a man had broken into a pump house on the other side of the park. Witnesses told officers the man and woman had been staying in a makeshift shelter at the park that night.
As officers went to the pump house, the man barricaded himself inside the building and refused to exit. Negotiators and even neighbors tried to coax him to leave, but to no avail. Eventually a SWAT team was called to assist.
Around 12:30 a.m., SWAT officers entered the pump house and found the man dead inside a 10-foot tank which contained about 50 gallons of a 12% bleach solution, officers said. HAZMAT crews were called to the scene to the medical examiner retrieve the body.
Authorities have not publicly identified the woman, and Seattle police are still determining what led up to the murder but say they are investigating the case as domestic violence.
