There is absolutely no pressure on the PAC 12. Jon Wilner like many others in the media is simply trying to stoke some fires that really isn't needed at the moment.

The PAC 12 won’t play. Left leaning state governments in most of those states will keep it from getting off the ground.

Frankly, there aren't enough people on the West Coast who will care.

The pressure to play will exist, but will be minimal.

Uh, the B1G isn't starting until late Oct., so the Pac 12 can wait until then, as well. You think the fires will still be burning then?

Dang that was hard to read! But if there is no push by the PAC as a conference this matter is dead. And any bureaucratic delay at this point will make it impossible to play. They have to recall the athletes, get ready, set schedules, etc. and the Big 10 has pulled it together at the last possible minute, I just don't see the PAC pulling this out when there is no momentum in the Conference office to get there.

College football does not have the same cultural significance in much of Pac 12 country the way it does in other parts of the nation. There is not the same push from the general public to restore play. Not to mention their player revolt.
