I'm sure there are several different meanings to several different groups of liberals/progressives. The one's I'm familiar with say it to mean anyone with any skin other than black or brown (African-American or Latino) has an unfair advantage in today's society.

I would retort that it is one's behavior and work ethic that determines one's limitations. It has been proven time and time again. Both ways. I know plenty of "white people" who "ain't worth a plug nickel." They had/have no work ethic, and bad behavior.

Life is kinda simple. In a way.

my friends already know this...but I was a BB only fan till the last five years...I used to fly in for many BB games, never FB.

Born and raised in Mempho. Graduated White Station in 1989. Dad was MSU grad, YMCA director, and later the AD and coach at Shelby State. Step dad was coach at Mitchell. Saved money as a kid and bought football season tickets at 15. Attended countless games at MSC and LBMS.

Moved to Tulsa for college in fall of 1989. Got stuck here, but it ain't so bad and only a 6 hour drive. Still have family in Memphis and Frog Jump (about an hour north of Memphis).

Well, I have lived in Memphis all of my 65 years. I have been to the Rendezvous. I have tried the food and the ambiance. Been there twice even. Never going back. Too many better places to eat in this town. I have been to Gracland....once. Took out of town guest because they wanted to go. I even took a picture of the vending machine outside of the building that was charging $3.75 for a can of Coke.
