Probably 6-8 league only ... I'm betting on 6 with off weeks sprinkled in.

Pac 12 is all on fire

Pac 12 wasn’t playing even without the fires

The B1G smugly thought when they decided not to play that everyone else would just fall in line. When the SEC didn't, along with the ACC & B12, and with the elevated attend received by the AAC and others who are playing, the B1G realized they made a bad mistake motivated by their politics rather than good judgement. And then as the day approaches that the SEC will begin play, the B1G just couldn't stand the idea of college FB leaving them out.

that was my thought as well. That and "follow the money".

It does seem odd that the B10 would release their schedule in August, then cancel the season a few days later, only to backtrack at this point. Starting in late October will put them behind the 8-ball but I strongly believe an 8 win B10 team gets into the playoffs over a 10 win AAC team. Sucks but that's the way it is.

Their early announcement convinced one of our "insiders" that the decision had already been made everywhere to cancel. Dominoes were going to fall soon - after school AD's finished fleecing boosters. Because the B1G has the smart guys, and they are always right.

BTW, haven't seen that guy since football season actually started.

The good news is that the Purdue buy game mistake is null and void. It will never happen.

Apparently it's up to 9 games now ... That's going to be some cold azz football games from Thanksgiving till Christmas. Ski masks may be the order of the day.
