I believe the late golfer, Payne Stewart, took that non-stop route.
Also, Sturgis apparently accounted for over 250K positive tests. That's in SD too.
And yet daily deaths in South Dakota haven't moved at all since May; holding steady at slightly less than 1 per day. It is amazing that Sturgis is supposedly causing all those positive tests across the country while the protests, looting and violence hasn't been the cause of any positive tests. Weird.
DEATH PER MILLION STATE RANKING
26 Minnesota
36 Washington
37 Oklahoma
40 Wisconsin
41 South Dakota
46 Oregon
In late June, liberal media ignored the violence, protests and looting in Democrat run cities, and declared that Trump's rally was going to be a super spreader and everyone in Oklahoma was going to die and blah blah blah, whatever.

"North Dakota and South Dakota lead the country in new cases per capita over the last two weeks, ranking first and second respectively, according to Johns Hopkins University researchers.
South Dakota has also posted some of the country’s highest positivity rates for COVID-19 tests in the last week — over 17 percent — an indication that there are more infections than tests are catching."

Quote:The Sturgis rally also spread infections across the region, with health officials in 12 states reporting over 300 cases among people who attended the event.
Quote:The number of hospitalizations has climbed from 68 to 109 in five days. The six deaths bring the state's total to 183. The people who died included one in their 50s, one in their 60s, two in their 70s and two over 80. One woman and five men died. The deaths included people from Custer, Grant, Meade, Oglala-Lakota and two from Minnehaha County.
The total number of active infections in the state remained unchanged. There were 320 new cases reported Saturday, on 1,646 tests - 19.4% positivity rate. The total number of coronavirus cases in South Dakota is now 16,437.
Pennington County added 35 new cases Saturday but active cases dropped by four to a total of 325. There have been 1,766 cases in the county.

Not wearing masks and not social distancing is stupid, but I honestly don't mind if others don't wear masks around me. Aside from normal responsibilities, my sole focus in life is to make sure that my 84 year old mother stays safe.
I social distance, make sure that she is wearing her mask and social distancing, make sure that everything is clean. She is blase about it. I don't think she would be half as careful if her family wasn't so militant. That is probably the case with many seniors that get infected.
Montreal is a global hotspot, and yet all I see are massive groups of young white people not social distancing and not wearing masks when I go on my daily bicycle rides. I blame almost everything going on in the US right now on white trash between the ages of 18-35. I blame the same group on all virus stuff happening in Canada.

The food plants and farms across the country haven't been on the murderous level of governments in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania with nursing homes, but they have been very bad.

Just to stir the conspiracy pot, in case folks don't already know, Smithfield is a Chinese company.

They need their pork . lol
The plant processes roughly five percent of the U.S. pork supply. Smithfield, which is based in Virginia, was purchased by Chinese meat processing giant WH Group in 2013 for $4.72 billion.Apr 15, 2020

Curious, I though preseason tourneys couldn't have more than 1 team from a conference. I guess that is wrong?

Bahamas to the South Dakota... Good luck selling that one, no matter how nice Sioux Falls is.
Not saying it’s Bahamas nice. Just saying it’s not Flint, Michigan.
Agreed, and my point is there are a whole lot of better places between the Bahamas and Sioux Falls...
