Immigration /Preliminary Injunction
The panel vacated a preliminary injunction barring
implementation of decisions to terminate Temporary
Protected Status (TPS) designations of Sudan, Nicaragua,
Haiti, and El Salvador, and remanded, holding that:
(1) judicial review of Plaintiffs’ claim under the
Administrative Procedure Act (APA) is barred by 8 U.S.C.
§ 1254a(b)(5)(A); and (2) Plaintiffs failed to show a
likelihood of success, or even serious questions, on the
merits of their Equal Protection claim.

Trump’s Supreme Court confirmations already the same as Obama’s (2 : 2)

Trump’s 1st-11th Circuit Appellate Court confirmations already surpasses Obama’s (53 : 48), although Obama had another 7 confirmations on the patent/trademark Appellate Court (0 for Trump). Those still count, but that Court simply does not have jurisdiction over the same kind of cases as 1-11. That’s why McConnell allowed a couple of those to slide through even after he became Majority Leader in 2015, and they were confirmed either unanimously or almost so.

Trump’s District Court confirmations still have a ways to go to catch up: (151 : 268), although like I said Trump still has a few dozen more lined up.

I had forgotten how long it had been since we granted temporary asylum to these folks. 20 freaking years ago.

I was floored that this was done by the '9th Circus' but Trump has been working to create some sanity there and I guess it is paying off.

Win or lose in November. Trumps real legacy will be in the courts. He has single handedly thwarted the Progressive take over of the courts for decades to come. For that..I will be eternally grateful regardless of my personal feeling toward him.
