“You truly are the future of our country,” Harris said into a megaphone after the motorcade pulled up to Florida Memorial University, where a marching band serenaded her ahead of an hourlong discussion with local Black leaders. “You are the ones who are going to inspire us and fight for the ideals of our country.”

In America’s leading presidential battleground, there’s mounting anxiety among Democrats that the Biden campaign’s standing among Latinos is slipping, potentially giving President Donald Trump an opening in his reelection bid. That’s fueling an urgent effort by Biden, Harris and their allies to shore up older voters, suburbanites and African Americans to make up for potential shortcomings elsewhere.

Are they so tone deaf that they don’t realize it’s kind of offensive and racist and divisive to tell a group of blacks they are the future of the country?

The problem for Biden and Latinos is that this isnt something that recently happened. Politico was reporting on the Latino surge for Trump in January. Its been in process for a long time, and as such, Biden isnt just going to be able to go to Florida and correct the issue.

Dems only care about blacks. Only black lives matter (except for black republicans who the Dems loathe)

The Cubans and the Venezuelans have seen this movie before.

The “Swing” Latino vote in Florida is likely the Puerto Rican’s. There are now 1.5 Million Puerto Rican’s in Florida, swelled up the past few years after the Hurricanes. While PR’s tend to vote D than Cubans, many did not like how the Governor and others in power on the island handled things and saw their the facade on the media.

They probably have already forgotten and if not I'm sure they'll have a good Demoncraptic excuse for her incompetence, like she was in her period and couldn't find tampons which affected her thinking do we'll continue voting for the Demons.

This is why FLorida really isnt a swing state this time. Trump only received 35% of the latino vote in Florida in 2016 and still won. He's over 15 points better than that right now, while Biden is underperforming in Dade county.
