This team and this program needs games against good teams. I would love to see this game.

I agree. Especially, if we could get a return game. We shouldn’t be afraid to play anyone.

Me: I agree with that.
You: Like a triple-option team on 5 days prep.
Me: No, I do not agree with that.

Playing Army @ West Point would be great, but we should get a return game (or two) for helping them out. The Bobby Bowden FSU statement of "anyone, any time, any place" should be considered.

The triple option is easy to defend. But it required discipline which I don’t think our team has on defense to stop.

I disparaged our team all last season over discipline. I wouldn’t disparage any team over lack of discipline to defend the triple-option in this day & age. That’s an entirely different level of discipline. I wonder how many of the players on our roster right now even played a team in high school that ran the triple-option. Or even just Wing-T or wishbone formations.

With Army it's not a matter of being disciplined. It's a matter of having your knees survive 3 1/2 hours of cut blocking.

It won’t be anywhere near 3.5 hours. They don’t throw the ball enough. May be lucky to have it last 2.
Man I loved cut blocking though.

Watching Army do it is absolute football poetry.
