I like this move. I wanted no part of Memphis as the opening game of the season. I have no idea what kind of team UH will field as our players seem to do more protesting than practicing but this ass kicking baylor will give us will maybe let us contend for the west(if there even are divisions this year I have no idea honestly)

Can Houston actually beat Baylor? Don't want OOC losses.

Have you seen the big 12 play? Houston should have a good chance. New coaches at Baylor, all the back and forth. With all their red shirts and experience advantage in knowing the system Houston should have a good chance. Tulsa will likely be getting beat up though so that's an OOC loss.

Yes. Baylor has a new coaching staff and lost many starters from last years team. Rhule was going well enough recruiting, but I defer to whoever has had more practice and snaps together as a team. I think that favors Houston honestly.

Who knows. Im extremely confident we will be significantly better than last year. Second year under the same coaches, a QB that has a full camp of starter reps+ a year of experience, along with all the starting quality transfer players+red shirt players being eligible to play this year pretty much guarantees improvement. All I know is this years team has a better shot at the upset than last years squad would. 04-cheers

This is great. If the Sun Belt can go into big12 stadiums and get W's, so should we. SMU should troll the hell out of TCU and get that game back!

I'm glad Houston got the Baylor deal. Worked out for both of us. Hopefully, our guys learn a lesson from this.

Btw, so far, no Memphis players seem to have symptoms. Maybe it's a bunch of false positives, lol.

Meanwhile, UVA-Va Tech and BYU-Army also got postponed.

I'd feel the same if the roles were reversed and Houston was the ranked team with players out due to COVID.

I could absolutely care less about the success of other teams in this conference. It’s about my school and nothing else. Sorry but they should have been forced to play.

It’s juvenile to not care about other schools? Haha ok! Last I checked cincy doesn’t contribute money to our football program. Until you do you have no room to judge me as a fan. The whole point of sports is to win and be on top, not some hug and everyone wins crap.

Sorry but I’m not going to root for some school that I’ve never attended that would actively hurt my school if it gave them a competitive advantage. Just because it makes you feel better.

It's an AAC vs Big 12 showdown next Saturday.

Houston vs Baylor, 11 am CT on FOX

Tulsa vs OSU, 11 am CT on ESPN

We're going to have stiffer competition, but hopefully we can Sunbelt them.

I was being facetious. That's why I put an "lol" at the end of the sentence.

Baylor has for ever refused to schedule Houston in football... but to actually see this Houston vs Baylor matchup take place now is very interesting.

We have not forgotten what you Baylor thieves/cheaters did to UH.
