Sun Belt definitely has a chip on its shoulder and wants to prove its better than CUSA. Kind of reminds me of how the CAA used to be with the A10. The belt, and CUSA are both taking advantage of the extra media exposure on the major networks. The belt is making the most of the opportunity. They've proven to be equal to CUSA in football now. Its time to reconfigure the leagues east and west or north and south. It'd be a win win.

Yes they have had scholarships for three years now, full member of the ,Big South, FCS.

Last week South Alabama beat So. Miss, and I think the So. Miss coach resigned.

This season is BS. No one is prepared or at full strength.

2 SB teams ranked in the top 25 coaches poll. This opportunity for G5’s will likely never come again. Hoping CUSA can take advantage and make some noise while they can.

We really screwed the pooch by taking the FCS staff to the FBS and while they made us look good when the conference was crapping their pants and earned us a 10-3 season we really didn't take the correct trajectory. This is more on the AD than anyone. That VT win gave Bobby one more season and us 11 more losses and a what could've been 0'fer season had we not salvaged that win against crappy NSU at home. I sure hope the new coaching staff can recruit and lead us towards being a better FB school than we currently are. We didn't fix the CUSA image problem we made it worse along with others .

I don’t have an issue with taking BW to FBS. But he should have been let go one year sooner. Hoping Rhane is the man to get us back to prominence. Being the one of the worst teams in the worst conference sucks.

What i meant by FCS coaches was that they were never able to get it done at the FBS level not that i am against giving FCS staff a shot at FBS level positions. There were and are many capable FCS coaches that made it at the FBS level and i am sure there is at least a significant no of asst coaches that made it to FBS that way. So yeah i wasn't complaining about giving that FBS shot for BW but like you said things should've been sorted out much earlier although i see why the admin didn't want to pull the trigger in that they were afraid no good coach would take a look at ODU with out even a decent stadium and history. I am just mad that we couldn't afford a good coach when things started going down in a spiral.

Say it isn't so ! Some were saying that from day 1 and got criticized. Big boy football it a totally different recruiting, practice, and in game environment.

Absolutely yes and we have the first hand experience of what will happen if we don't do that right.

Campbell plays Coastal Carolina tonight on ESPN. I watched their near upset of GA Southern last week. I was impressed with Campbells QB, the kid is very similar to TH style of play.
