Probably one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen but USA deserved to lose that game regardless.

Umm. GG. I have no idea how you absolutely crushed us for 3.5 quarters and didn't blow us out.

I was busy chatting with friends when the penalty happened and didn’t have the TV volume up. What was the penalty on that punt?

Rushing the punter. The Jag tried to leap over the up man. Illegal move.

I have no dog in this fight but I watched that replay 5x. Dude jumps almost straight up and gets flipped by the lineman. It was an incredibly weak call.

Just caught the end bit. A tough loss but if it makes any difference, you guys look much improved overall.

RE: Grand Openning of Hancock Whitney-Tulane v USA game thread
I think Trotter reinjured his shoulder from last week or maybe not fully recovered. Chance came did a great job in the 1st half. Tulane adjusted and brought more pressure, we couldn't protect the qb. Chance isn't the runner that Trotter brings. Did we have the same starting OL as last week? The defense was gassed in the 2nd half. That call at the end was weak, I was at the game. I heard personal foul - I though we might have ran in the kicker for a 5 yd penalty. It was a terrible way to lose the game. We need to rest up this week and beat UAB the following week.

Yep.

Won’t get an argument from me. We have an inept head coach.

But it seems your coach has regained his "touch". I don't know of any coach in the country that can satisfy every fan of his team. Including Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney. Your team is on the way back, IMO.

Thanks, but our guys just "ran out of gas" and Tulane is a well coached team with a bunch of good athletes. I am proud of this year's team. A win in our opening game in the new stadium would have been nice, but we weren't playing the ole "FCS gift".

If you watched yesterday’s game he left plenty to question.

An Arkansan translating for a Cajun. Doesn't get any more 2020 than that.

I saw the replay as well. Very weak call indeed.

Here is that play in a sequence of photos for those that didn’t see it or wanted to take a look.

USA screwed the pooch Saturday evening. However, I must say that from what could be seen on TV, the new stadium at USA looks very nice. can't wait to visit and see it in person. Another positive for the SBC.

The stadium is going to be loud when it’s full. Even at 25% capacity it held sound so much better than Ladd and sounded more full than it actually was.
