Holy smokes. How in the hell did we beat this Maryland squad? There were a bunch of talented NFLers on their squad.

Great game, what a defensive stand! I remember like it was yesterday, and just watched again.

There was so much excitement at that game. Huskie Stadium was filled to capacity and the place was absolutely rocking. I could not sleep for 2 nights. That's what Huskie football used to be. And, look at it now. Have we gotten spoiled, or is Huskie football just not that exciting anymore? Nowadays, if we can get 16K in the stadium, that's success.

I really enjoyed what coach Novak brought to the broadcast. His insights on the coaching, team energy and how he was slighted by Friedgen (?) along with the joy you could see in his face in beating a ranked team after toiling to bring NIU up from the bottom.

Game week two (virtual). After an exciting win in week one the 2005 Huskies travel to the "big house" to take on the Wolverines. The quality is lacking but one of the great Huskie runs is at about the 43 min mark. It was hot that day and the seats were hard and small and I had a long walk back to my motel. In my opinion the big house is overated.

I was at that Michigan game with my son, Garrett Wolfe ran right toward us on his long TD run. The Michigan fans around us were really impressed with G-Dub.

We had our chances to win that game. Wolfe got stripped close to the Michigan red zone one time and I think it was Shatone Powers who fumbled a punt inside our own 5 yard line with a minute left in the half. Why he was fair catching the punt at that time and place is beyond me to this day.

Literally and figuratively, Michigan's stadium is one big pit. Terrible place to watch a game, especially if you are sitting in the top rows. I was there for our game, but I won't be going back.

The virtual Huskies visit their third Big Ten team and they are 1-1. This week it is the 2017 Huskies at Nebraska. Need a big game from our defense. Enjoy:

This game was so awesome. The Shawnun Lurry pick...plus our d line harassing Tanner Lee all game was a sight to see. So thankful to have been watching this one. One of my favorite games ever.
