TK had a "Virtual Gathering" late afternoon and the following are some of interesting things he had to say about the upcoming season:

* Thinks the start of the season for College Basketball will be 11/25 and that they will be playing that day and weekend in the Naples, FL tournament that is being moved from The Bahamas. He also mentioned the home game with Bradley will most likely be rescheduled for next season.

* The Recruiting Class led by Rollins, Hill and Milner are better than he thought coming in.

* In a perfect world, he would love to red shirt Maranka but because of COVID-19 and how it could impact the roster throughout the season, he is hesitant to do so.

* He does not like the ACC proposal for every team to be eligible for the NCAA Tournament this season saying he is not in favor of a "Participation Trophy" Tournament

* He thinks most likely November and December games will only be attended by player and coaches families. In January when league season rolls around, he is hopeful that more fans will be allowed to attend. To provide energy to the players on the floor, he wants his bench to stand and make noise during the course of games which he hopes the refs will allow.

He would break a decades long NCAA drought and he wants to call it a "participation" trophy? Win the damn game and he'll sooth his butthurt.

So take the NCAA Participation Invite. We will never get to The Dance again anyhow. The NCAA will put * next to any team in the Tourney.
