I'll stay with my prediction from the game preview and say we lose by 14, 17-31.

Blazers always #1 in my book though.

Miami wins 35-17.

If our D had played better last week, I would go with a closer score. I think we have depth and speed problems at LB.

If we stay healthy I think this will be our best offense under Clark. If we get above average play at QB, it could be difficult to stop for CUSA.

Still hoping and pulling for the win.

I think you're spot-on, Matt.

I think we lose by 14 or 17. Hopefully we can make it a competitive game for most of it though. Unfortunately I think King has too much speed for our linebackers.

We will need to take away King's ability to run if we are going to have any chance. Lets say we manage to contain King, and capitalize on some early season mistakes: 24-27 (UAB).

If we can't contain King: 38-17 (Miami).

In 2000, UAB won over LSU 13-10 by neutralizing their QB output (I don't think that QB ever started another game for LSU) and hitting a last minute FG. That is what UAB will have to do to win tonight.If Miami can score in the high 20s and 30s, we will be in trouble.

You were all over this prediction. Too bad it came to fruition.

Stayed in the game longer and kept it a little closer this time but...

UAB now 0-6 under Clark Against-The-Spread in games against the P5. I saw UM -15 right before kickoff.

After the UCA game I didn't expect us to cover but I was hoping for better.

we are not playing for the spread ,,,we were in game for most of the game ,,,just remember last year against a terrible Sec teams ..and we got a qb with an arm now

Beating the spread is an indication of competitiveness. Of course it's not the only one. I was pleased we were still in the game in the 3rd quarter, a definite improvement, but I was hoping for more.

After playing two games, I think we are marginally improved from last year. We'll have a chance in the rest of our games if we don't beat ourselves. As long as this program suffered, that's nothing to brush off.

Would have loved to see us bust on through that wall last night but we aren't quite there yet.
