OK. Here's the rest of the story.

"Due to issues regarding travel during the COVID-19 pandemic, Houston approached BYU about switching the order of the two-game series that was announced in 2017. Under the amended agreement, the second game of the series will be played in Provo at LaVell Edwards Stadium at a date to be determined."

Probably easier for us to keep the quarantine going with the way houston has been a hot spot lately.

What the?

I want this to be smoke of something bigger, but.....

This is a good thing for Houston and the AAC,good for whomever thought of doing this, it will maintain the "Bubble" and hopefully keep the season going until all game are played...

Still don't understand why Rice and Houston game was canceled; I stayed in touch with all my neighbors throughout this whole ordeal, no infections amongst us.

I'd like to hear the backstory that led to this change. Let your imagination run free since it's going to go there anyway. :)

Houston: hello BYU, about that scheduled game. With the pandemic and all we really don't think it's a good idea to put our players in an enclosed aluminum cylinder and fly them to Provo Utah.

BYU: apparently you don't understand we're a P5 program.

Houston : sorry you feel that way we will need to cancel.

BYU: okay, okay. All that stuff about P5 is bull**** as you know. Will do whatever you ask.

It may actually be good for both schools, UH reduces travel risk, and BYU gets the game next year, when there is much more likely to be fans in the seats, so they make more money in the long run. plus they are beefing up home games for next year.

What are you talking about? I already renewed my season tickets, plus they are advertising limited single game tickets.

I’m talking about the city if Houston itself. There us word the mayor wants to try and keep any fan from going to the games.

He is term-limited, so he is done regardless. He has definitely shown his true colors.
