Yep...by 2 or 22 I just want a W. First games are unpredictable and this is a solid team we are facing.

I know what SHOULD happen. But something tells me that if I were a betting man I would stay far away from this game.

Just as the team gets over the shock of losing their top offensive player.

They find out now that they lose one of the top defensive players.

Just too much of a chance the team comes out flat with all the emotional ups and downs this week.

The problem for Memphis fans is that if you were playing AppSt who was 13-1 and ranked somewhere around where you are you would know you are playing a talented team.

The fact is A-State is the most talented team in the SBC, and had it not been for the cancer taking their head coaches wife right before the season resulting in him missing the SMU game-- a team they would have beaten by double digits even without their HC if their starting QB had not hurt his hand, you would know what you are facing.

Add to that they lost two starting OL who did not recover from injuries the previous season, then came a decades worth of injuries to their star players, mostly on defense, that caused them to have to switch from a 4-3, to a 3-4 mid-season.

A-State when it comes to talent is AppSt on steroids.

Another little fyi the most spectacular, take your breath away, athlete on the field in this game will be this guy.

AState will be competitive, as they always are. App State on steroids? Come on, man. App State was as good as anyone, outside of the top 10, last year.

Again, you are talking about performance, and I'm talking about talent, and gave some "whys" for their under performance last year.

App State's 2-deep for the last few years has been mostly lightly recruited 2-star types.

Can't promise you, you will be impressed with how they play under Anderson, just that you will be impressed with their talent. Although they lost a couple of GTs to P5's, and are young at corner, this is the most talented 2-deep they have had under Anderson, especially on offense.

Dude

Little is more exhausting than other team fan guy that demands respect and won’t rest until everyone of the home teams acknowledge the greatness of your team

We get it

ASU is good, capable of winning. Secretly wonderfully good

Just playing a game is surprising so keep some perspective and enjoy the TV show tonight. And let’s hope 4,500 doesn’t add to the 192,000 extra Americans who have died

Now just stop

I think it would have been between him and their NG Forest Merrill, who if he had not been hurt most of last year would be getting the "hype" he should be getting.

You are favored for a reason, and again when it comes to performance you still may have the best "player" on the field, because of how your team performs as a team.

Plus no SBC team has your overall roster talent, or your caliber of coaches, and bigger still your players know how to win.

A-State under BA has been a very under-performing team according to those with skin in the game, and until they are not, they are, but they have the talent, especially the skill players on offense, and in the trenches on both sides of the ball, to cover, and if you let them stay close late even win.

Well I'm from Tennessee, and provide content for the Arkansas colleges and universities without a pig as a mascot, on the states largest Razorback site, and have only been to one of their games in the last 20 years, been to at least a dozen of yours, so hardly a "fan".

Did not say they were good said they were talented, and more than talented enough to beat you if you are not careful.

and for the readers here in prepping for this game, and really their season, as far as their talent, I provided detailed info about a lot of their players here, and on the Razorback site, with links to their recruiting profiles so you could see for yourself if a players was considered talented, based on who offered him.

Enjoy the game, should be a good one and I promise you you will be impressed with their talent, and that talent is not going to sneak up on anyone that read this forum, especially my Memphis buddies who I suspect are going up to no good.

Your welcome.

Haha. Hello little Tiggers and Drew. Can’t wait for the game.
My favorite ASU-MSU game is still the ‘75 beating, but the 2nd half comeback in Jonesboro and the Hail Mary in Memphis come in a close 2nd. I’m hoping we add to that list today.
Good luck and I’m praying for an injury-free game.
