RE: CUSA Attendance 2020
UTSA has said that we'll operate at about 17% of capacity. Based on the 65K that I believe the Alamodome can hold, I think that amounts to around 11,050 they'll let in, though I'm not sure whether they'll open our upper deck. Face coverings will be required. Season ticket holders will be informed soon of our new seat locations, as they're moving us to maximize distancing, though they did their best to keep us in the general area of where our actual seats are. I think I also read something about alternating rows to where one row will have some seats filled and the next row won't. Aisle seats will also not be used.

Everyone will be subject to a temperature check prior to entry. As far as concessions, patrons will have access to a mobile app for food ordering and cashless operations. There'll be no tailgating. Everyone will be required to enter at assigned gates based upon their seat location to maximize physical distancing. Numerous touchless hand-sanitization and hand-washing stations have also been installed.

Just saw where FAU will be allowing 20% capacity at their home games.

https://twitter.com/FAUAthletics/status/...2882688000

Glad to see the new policy won't effect attendance.

Apparently we don’t need much of a home field advantage to kick the crap out of NT

LA Tech fans received notice yesterday that Tech officials will be allowing 25% capacity for football this season, except for the indoor premium seats in the DAC and the suites, which will be 50%.

Looking at the box score and attendance is listed as 0. Maybe the strategy is if nobody was there to see it did it really happen? 01-wingedeagle05-stirthepot

Ha! Except for 2018, that has been the case recently. My comment wasn't meant to be taken serious. Everyone will have terrible attendance this season. But, at least we get to play. 04-cheers

UNT is under the exact same policy. And, fans are expected to wear masks while in the stadium, unless they are drinking or eating. Keep some food in your hand.

RE: CUSA Attendance 2020
Western is capped at 20%, by the Dictator of KY. Our seats didnt change much...moved from the 50, right across to the next section, 13 seats away...so 45 yardline.

Just bought tickets on the 50 for $70 for tonights game and Louisville is capped at 12,000 (20%)
Hopefully we will be able to get tickets for the Middle and UAB games. Middle and their normal 8,000 without Covid shouldnt be a problem and UAB seats 80k?

About the same view we have at Western...these are a few rows higher up

What team is Mason Fine on? I remember he was drafted late first round or early second round.

I don’t think the media, schools, or conferences are going to pay much attention to attendance this season. Maybe to season tickets sold, but I’m sure a lot of folks will keep their season tickets but not attend games.

There's a difference in reporting no attendance and not reporting attendance.

RE: CUSA Attendance 2020
I expect a lower turnout for UTSA this Friday night. It's not a fellow Texas school for starters, but there will likely also be fewer coming from out of town since it's a Friday. I know I won't be able to make it because I teach. I would be a late arrival for the game in San Antonio if I left after work from Houston at about 4:30 or so. Would still have to drive back too. Just not worth the stress of trying to rush over there when I'm already tired at the end of the work week, know I'll be a little late anyway, and can just watch the game on TV from home. I think we'll be under 6K.

Marshall had 12,500 for both games.

They've all been sellouts.

Then Marshall should announce that and update the public records for the Eastern Kentucky game. Until they do, it is what it is. Can't average what's not announced.
