I just don't see it...I think there is more to this.

He is not a physical specimen...Not lightning fast (He is very quick).

Gibson was 30lbs bigger and faster than Gainwell.

Some of you are nothing but a bunch of selfish crybabies. Gainwell owes us nothing. The only ones that need to know why know and that's how it should stay.

Apparently Gainwell just told the staff and his fellow players of him skipping the season. There was no beforehand knowledge according to Caulkins

Honestly I tend to agree.

It is going to depend on the offensive line and the ability of the coaching staff to maintain the offensive philosophy.

Every year since Norvell has been here we have had 2 primary running backs average more than 6 yards a carry

2016 - Dorceus and Henderson
2017 - Henderson and Pollard (Taylor 5.5)
2018 - Henderson and Pollard (Taylor 5.4)
2019 - Gainwell and Gibson (Watkins 5.2)

The last person to average 6YPC before this stretch was Curtis Steel in 2009 under Tommy West.

This seems to be at the center of the biggest issue for college sports. The player owes us nothing, and we fans owe the player nothing. College coaches are supposed to turn down better jobs in the name of loyalty, college players are supposed to put the school ahead of their best interests in the name of loyalty, and college fans are supposed to attend games in heat, cold, rain, sun, and snow and give money no matter of success in the name of loyalty.

Anyone who says that Gainwell owes us nothing should also realize that we as fans owe him and the school nothing. Anyone who says he owes us nothing should be okay with fans who asked for refunds this year.

We are in good hands at RB.
