How would you break up big tech?
https://onezero.medium.com/how-breaking-...aceb3140ab

Article talks about various ideas for breaking up Big Tech.

To me it seems like what Apple is doing is simple anti-trust violations which get punished with fines.

Google needs to go. They don't really discuss in the article its domination of advertising and the influence of its search engine on that.

From what I have researched- Until users can own their data, free services will be an issue. Privacy is so underrated with today's technology.

Article arguing that it is necessary. That these big tech companies are intertwined with government and have become the public square.

I don’t think the elected officials really want to break a big tech. They want to control it and harness it for their purposes, but they don’t want to shatter it into pieces because then it can’t help anyone.

That’s what this is really all about — whining to the officials. They talk about breaking g it up because that’s what their supporters want. However, they don’t want to break up big tech, they just want the next call to go their way.

I miss the days when the DNC was the party of big government and the RNC was the party of big business. Now we have the DNC as the party of big government that’s in bed with big business. That should terrify us all.

Sure, but you also know that the GOP is also big government and big business, right?

Of course, and that pisses me off to no end. Both parties have sold their souls to the devil.

I think Donald Trump, a-hole that he was, may have pointed republicans toward a new identity, the party of makers--the working middle class, small businessmen and bankers, the old Main Street republicans, and entrepreneurs--versus the party of takers--the non-working welfare class and the uber-rich finance class. Can republicans follow through with more personally attractive candidates? Not if the RINO neocons have their way.

And yet another libtard idiot troll that assumes everyone not down with the progressive agenda is a Republican.
