As for Cincinnati, UC holds camp at a remote facility across the border in Indiana (Camp Higher Ground). They’ve been doing it for over 20 years. The players have basically been in a bubble, nobody is allowed in or out. It’s been a great asset for us and the people that own the place are big supporters. When Brian Kelly took the ND job he tried to get the camp for the Irish but the owners stayed loyal to UC.

For now, nobody will be allowed at the Austin Peay game. The AD said he is working on trying to open it up- the Governor has limited capacity at sporting events to 15% capacity. Last night HS football kicked off across the state and the city and there were plenty in attendance.

That is a good model to follow, all 3 of NY Professional Football teams do that, although technically the Buffalo Bills are the only NY professional Football team... and they don't have the words "New York" in their name.

This state is a $hit Hole.

Can Temple play home games at Villanova?

Eagles are testing players multiple days per week. AFAIK Temple is only doing once. That may be the difference for Philadelphia officials.

The Eagles are testing daily. Temple is testing weekly. That’s why the Eagles aren’t restricted and Temple is. Daily testing is expensive and I assume that’s the reason Temple isn’t testing that frequently.

The thing is Temple’s president isn’t a moron. He knows that Temple has a strained relationship with City Council and the surrounding neighborhood so he’s not going to sign-off on intentionally violating public health guidelines. Also, as the operator of a school of public health and the city’s de facto public health system intentionally violating public health guidelines would be an, umm, interesting choice.

It's like a story I read years ago. A man was in traffic court and asked the judge why he was the only one pulled over when he was in a group of cars all traveling at the same speed. The cop said "I turned on my light and you were the only one who pulled over."

A classic Dad joke. +3

Thanks. I think I read it in Reader's Digest. For some of our younger members, that's a small booklike magazine printed on actual paper delivered to a physical mailbox.

Do you get the large print version for senior citizens or the normal version. 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 03-lmfao 03-lmfao COGS COGS 04-cheers 07-coffee3

NC has something like a 25-person limit, but the players/coaches don't count against it for sporting events/practice. That said, ECU is still practicing across about 4 practice fields.

Wow. Different world. In the Salt Lake city area and throughout Utah, most high schools will play their FOURTH game of the season this weekend.

The rumors are that BYU will allow reduced attendance of 21,000 this fall (about 33% capacity) including a student section, starting on 9/26 v. Troy.

Thank goodness for the military academies and schools from Texas and Alabama - we hope to have a season this fall....

No chance, maybe Subaru Park, home of the Philadelphia Union Soccer Team.

Like us, it seems like you have "more important" teams that you can use as a barometer. I've come to terms with the fact that the Pirates aren't going to have fans before the Panthers do. What are the Bengals doing?

Eh... The beng-gals are used to playing in front of empty seats. If that's the barometer then we'll never have any fans allowed so the Bungles can have the better fan-numbers and enthusiasm.

As crazy it sounds UC actually outdrew the Bengals last year (butts in the seat). We played UCLA at Nippert the first week and the Bengals hosted an exhibition game that same night and according to my boss who went to the game there were no more than 15-20K at the Bengals game.

All this being said, the NFL has more casual and
Corporate support. The governor just announced the Bengals and Browns can have 6,000 at two of their games. Right now he has said none for UC. Oddly enough HS football is allowed some fans in attendance.
