Exactly. Chance program used to be limited to 500 admits, this year the limit was eliminated. Since chance students don’t count as officially admitted, it boosts the freshman class overall gpa and ACT/SAT profile, which explains the second highest class gpa in 11 years despite admitting a record number of less qualified students.
Beg to differ: Chance students have always counted as official admitted freshmen. Don’t understand where you got that misinformation
