RE: Tulane vs. South Alabama
I think we started to turn things around the last four games where Trotter started. We started to sustain drives, give the defense a bit of a break. Trotter will likely being the starter vs Chance, but we will see how they both look when the lights are on. We can let Tulane go to Ladd and burn it down if they want, but they aren't going to burn down Hancock Whitney Stadium.

RE: Tulane vs. South Alabama
That was a pretty good breakdown on USA's offense, but I don't think he put enough work in to project the Jaguars in 2020.
Here's the opening from a USA offensive preview on jagsjungle.com
"The 2019 South Alabama offense was, in an indisputable word, putrid. It was among the worst in that nation, averaging only 18.3 points and 330.2 yards per game. Coach Steve Campbell likes a strong running attack, but even he had to be disappointed that his team ran for more yards than it passed, 171.4 to 158.8. However, there is much more reason for optimism this year as the Jaguars showed marked improvement in the last third of the season after a quarterback change, raising their points per game from 17.1 to 26 and their total yards per game from 290.8 to 409. With an improved situation under center and a lot of returning experience on the offensive line and at receiver, there is an excellent chance that USA can continue it's positive offensive trajectory."

Here's the opening from the defensive preview.
"Unlike the offense, which took a step back from 2018 last year, the defense made huge strides in it's second year under coordinator Greg Stewart. The most glaring difference in those two years was points per game allowed, which dropped from 37.6 to 28, but there were several other statistics that backed up that improvement: Yards allowed per rush fell from 5.0 to 4.4, yards per play from 6.7 to 5.8 and yards per game from 448.7 to 408.8. And this was all with a very limited offense that allowed the opposition to run 46 more plays and hold the ball 1:28 more in time of possession from the previous season.
The question is, can they maintain this level of performance or even improve on it in 2020 despite significant graduation losses, especially in the defensive line? With six of the top seven tacklers returning, there are reasons to think that is the case."
