College Football this fall for some conferences?
Would be weird having some teams/conferences on the sidelines watching others play this fall.

Why can't all of the FBS conferences put their greed (P5) aside and make a decision as a whole?

Big10 regretting their move?

Today's Trib reported that "NC State football's season-opener at Va Tech was postponed from 9/12 to 9/26 because of a cluster of COVID-19 cases among Wolfpack athletes. The ACC and the two schools announced the delay two days after NC State paused athletic activities." Let the fun begin. If I was a betting man, Filmmaker, I'd wager that when all is said and done the Big10 and PAC12 won't be the P5 conferences that regret their decisions.

LSU and Oklahoma each have an entire position group out with Covid right now and I assume there will be more of that going forward. Imagine having it happen during the season, where you have no offensive linemen available for two weeks as an example. The conferences who are playing will probably make it through but it will be a bumpy ride.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of those SEC schools end up lying about positive cases so they can field a team against a rival. It'll probably be another college football scandal in the coming months.

If they did, the NCAA should give those schools an athletic death sentence for 2-3 years and those coaches should never coach again, and the entire administration should resign. There should be no compromise on that aspect of safety for not only their team, but the other team as well.

Well, they let a school back in after they harbored a child rapist for decades. I can't see them banning Alabama for lying about Covid.

Iowa State just flipped from allowing 25% capacity to 0% for 9/12 Opener.

Notre Dame allowing only students, faculty, and players parents at their home games.

Students are required to sit in assigned seats and they can only sit "next" to their current roommate(s). Otherwise their assigned seat will be at least 6 feet part from the next nearest attendee. All must wear masks and there will be no tailgating allowed before or after the games.

Sounds like lots of fun.

Was hoping to catch a game there. There goes that.

Big 10 reconsidering. This has to hurt recruiting. If SEC andACC play, and they don’t?
