Proposal for Covid friendly preconference basketball
If schools are not likely to play their preconference basketball schedules, I have a counter proposal:

The eight Kentucky D1 schools, Murray, WKU, UofL, BU, UK, EKU, NKU, MSU play each other in a round robyn schedule from Nov through December. All games are without fans and played in Memorial Colisium in Lexington. Teams come the day of their scheduled game and leave after the game. Minimal travel, minimal exposure. The Commonwealth would go crazy for it.

Travel would be easy for everybody but Murray. Obviously the last game of the mini season would be UofL v. UK. By the way, these are all public universities (except BU) which means they could be politcally pressured to do it.
