OK - Let the season go on
And I hope it goes all the way through 14 games. (My personal preference) But if the season is cut short I promise not to say "I told you so".

Thanks for giving it the official green light. The league office was unsure if they had your approval or not. I'll be sure to give Aresco a call and let him know we're ready for take off. lmao

The question is not wether the season will or will not happen, but is it even worth having.

I don’t know about psychological. I can attest that the lack of sports has caused alot of people to realize they don’t need sports in their life anymore. Myself even, I haven’t watched any basketball or baseball and I was a die-hard sports fan. Hell I don’t even know if I’ll be motivated to watch football when it comes back.

Financially is another story. As far as I’m concerned the only schools that will be hurt financially will be the small schools and that’s a good thing. Less schools mean less mouths to feed.

Sounds like you already did. You have been beating the drum for not playing football, and predicting its demise if it starts, for weeks now.

By psychological I was considering more of the impact on the players, coaches, and other folks who rely on the games for employment. Not so much the fans.

ECU just moved to all online classes and students have to move out by Aug 30th. My question is does ECU still play football if everyone has to move out and attend class online? Not sure how all of this works on that end.

Athletes, grad students and a few others can remain on campus.

If they turn the season into a political commercial, I would rather it not start. I watched 1/4 of one NBA game and could not watch that garbage. Sports are an escape.

I started watching a pregame show and turned it off after 5 minutes, haven't watched any professional sports and have no plans to do so at any point in the future...

Waiting on the only sport left that I care to watch, College Football, if that doesn't happen so be it... as a sports fanatic, I have learned that I can live and prosper without sports.

I have found better hobbies.

I haven't watched an NBA game in a long while, esp. since "king" james apparently thinks anyone gives a **** what he thinks - adam silver is just a well paid lap dog

I am loving all sports that I can and looking forward to college football. Go Bearcats. I am not going to allow political views on any sort or any side to stop me. Go Bearcats.
