Envy?

I'm starting to feel a bit embarrassed for the Georgia St guy...

Every school in the AAC has a better chance of being in a power conference than lowly UConn.

Why are you here again?

The AAC is just so much more interesting---he cant help himself. P6 marketing continues to work its magic.

RE: Colorado State & Air Force to AAC
What power conference allow some members to play basketball in one conference and football in another conference ? If the AAC wants to be look upon as a legitimate power conference the members need to compete in football/basketball in the AAC .. At one point UCF played MAC football and A-SUN basketball.. Not a good look for UCF ..

I don't recall Pony bringing up you or Georgia St over here. However since I never go to the CUSA/Sunbelt board, it could be he is over there quite a bit.............

Pony are you going over to another conference's board and talking trash about your team no one over there cares about?

Did you make your chriopratic appointments for the fall panama? You know how hard it is on your neck watching that game in a baseball stadium.
Oh please Francis. I have been here for over a decade .

No but I stand by my comment. COVID is generating more crazy offseason season scenarios than David St could come up with.

Yeah I am not on that GSU to AAC bandwagon. Most all GSU fans have been since the old Big East going back to the late 90s even before we started football. I am cool with where we are.

I know Ashley, that's why I wanted to make sure you made your regular chriopratic appointment. However you implied you were on somebodies mind, yet no one ever seems to bring you up.

So how is that different from what I said?

I said I personally am no longer on that bandwagon. College football has an attendance problem and especially in large cities in the South it's a hard ticket to sell if the opposing team not regional or we'll known.

If it were to happen fine but I prefer that the majority of our home schedule be from GA and the 5 states bordering GA. I've become more practical in old age.

There's also the Big East to consider. They don't even play real sports anymore, and many still consider them a power conference. If they can get consideration with just basketball, then we could with just football.

The Old Big East as a founding member of the Bowl Championship Series with the B-10, B-12, ACC, SEC, and PAC-12 had members that played "Football Only" in the OBE while their remaining sports played in other conferences before they became full members in the OBE.

I wish that was not true. I think recruiting from that state would improve ( #4 in the country last I read ).

RE: Colorado State & Air Force to AAC
I’ve maintained the plan should be to bring in 3 Western schools, preferably: BYU, Boise St, and Air Force.

14 for football, 14 for basketball (Navy in fb in place of Wich St)

That’s a de facto P6 that will get the G5 NY6 slot in nearly every year. Honestly, I’m not even sure an undefeated team from the G4 could displace a 2-loss AAC champ.

I’d even be willing to consider admitting 5 Western schools if that’s what it takes to get the deal done. San Diego St and Colorado St potentially?
