UNC Goes To Online From In Person
After less than two weeks after multiple outbreaks of Covid, and students partying as if it doesn’t exist. But actually, this gives football a better chance to operate in a sort of bubble situation, so paradoxically, it may have a better odds!

I've talked about this with a couple others, that was probably the best thing to happen to UNC. It got caught early, they shut everything down, and pretty much encouraged students to leave. Takes a lot of the pressure of partying etc out.

I think if all colleges went virtual than you could possibly get a football (and for future reference, basketball) season in. No students on campus = less likely the players will get the virus.
I know that some college students like myself will do their best to take some responsibility and try to slow the spread of the virus, but not all students are the same. A lot of students are already going out and partying. Just selfish behavior. Luckily, I had low expectations and I'm considering this (probably limited) time in my college town as a "workacation."

Just further illustrates that college football is simply a "business". No students on campus, but UNC will still play football. I wonder if the students will still have to pay their athletic fee- $279.00 per semester
2 semesters X 30,000 students X 279.00 = $16,740,000
I bet they will, although there will be some class action lawsuits about this.
I agree that getting the regular students off campus, will greatly decrease the chances of players getting Covid.
