I agree about Keith Gill. He better not screw this up. For some reason, I feel like he will though. He's the most absent commissioner I've ever seen.

He's likely not going to be. It'll probably wind up being an ESPN+ broadcast, sadly.

I hope we can get some of our ESPN games moved to Saturday, but don't count on making more money than we usually do.

Any FBS game will be on TV in early/mid September, but I agree G5 conferences won't get paid any more.

Currently 7 games slated for week 1, Thursday is our game, 5 games on Saturday and the BYU-Army game on Monday. Currently only the BYU game is slated for national tv on ESPN. No way it remains that way. All 7 FBS games will be on TV, why wouldn’t they??? ESPN needs content, and people are going to watch college football if it’s in TV.

In the southeast all of those games would be tuned in on peoples tv’s.

I thought Gill should have been more vocal outwardly last year regarding championing for APP to play in the Belk bowl but I didn't remember hearing a peep from him. This is DEFINITELY his chance to champion the conference. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable doing on camera live interviews, but in the very least he should be doing radio interviews, putting out official statements, heck take a que from the President and just send a tweet out every 15 mins, do something.

I was wondering about that. We don't have any say in CUSA's TV Contract...

You guys are right, and had forgot that CUSA didn’t belong to ESPN, doesn’t change the fact that the game should be on national TV, cbssports is still a national broadcast. Not sure why they haven’t announced it will be carried.

If he's not comfortable doing live camera interviews, then what the h*** is he doing as the commissioner of a Division I/FBS conference?

We have a highly touted WR transfer on the team the last couple of years that can't seem to find the field. Some of us have nicknamed him Bigfoot because of few and far between sightings. Maybe that would fit the Commisioner. It could also be a scam. Someone may be pocketing the money that is supposed to be paid to this alleged person who is supposed to be the face of the conference. He may not even exist.....

How and why Gill was named our leader was an odd and terrible choice. Ha had no qualifications for the job. Now we are stuck with him for as long as he wants to live off of the SBC. Damn shame.

I bet some of those who didn't like Benson, are probably now missing him.

That's one thing I really liked about Benson. He put himself out there for interviews, video updates, and seemed pretty transparent... he certainly wasn't absent like Gill is.
