And big surprise, the sycophants in the GOP senate are still covering and cowering to the orange menace. Sad.

Quote:Here are some of the committee’s own findings about Trump campaign engagement with the Russian electoral interference—findings subscribed to by each and every one of the senators who protests that they did not find “collusion”:

"The Committee found that Manafort’s presence on the Campaign and proximity to Trump created opportunities for Russian intelligence services to exert influence over, and acquire confidential information on, the Trump Campaign. Taken as a whole, Manafort’s high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services . . . represented a grave counterintelligence threat.”

"While [Russian military intelligence] and WikiLeaks were releasing hacked documents, the Trump Campaign sought to maximize the impact of those leaks to aid Trump’s electoral prospects. Staff on the Trump Campaign sought advance notice about WikiLeaks releases, created messaging strategies to promote and share the materials in anticipation of and following their release, and encouraged further leaks. The Trump Campaign publicly undermined the attribution of the hack-and-leak campaign to Russia and was indifferent to whether it and WikiLeaks were furthering a Russian election interference effort.”

“Trump and senior Campaign officials sought to obtain advance information about WikiLeaks’s planned releases through Roger Stone.”

“The Committee further found that Papadopoulos’s efforts introduced him to several individuals that raise counterintelligence concerns, due to their associations with individuals from hostile foreign governments, as well as actions these individuals undertook. The Committee assesses that Papadopoulos was not a witting cooptee of the Russian intelligence services, but nonetheless presented a prime intelligence target and potential vector for malign Russian influence.”

It goes on. And on. And on.
Republican Senators Misrepresent Their Own Russia Report

And we get it...no collusion was prosecuted...mostly because there's just no criminal statute to prosecute it under. But keep on pretending that everything that happened was just fine, when we all know that you would be screaming bloody murder if this was perpetrated by democrats, so just stop embarrassing yourselves and be honest for once.

K. Commietom. You do you

And you just keep on being a useful fool.

I’ve seen the MSM and practically ALL democrats believe and run with Russian propaganda for four years now. I know exactly where the dim witted morons are.

Yeah, I'm sure there were millions out there who said "You know, I WAS going to vote for Hillary... but then I saw THIS on facebook."

I for one was going to vote Hillary until I walked up to the polls and some dude in a furry hat with a red star on it said "vote for Trump, comrade", so I did.

Nobody said millions. And I've never said that this Russian propaganda definitely swung the election to trump. That being said, when he won nearly all the battleground states by only a few thousand votes. it's not out of the realm, but no, you can't prove it, so I cannot assert it as any sort of fact.

No, he's spot on...and this report confirms it. The problem, again, is that it's likely not criminal.

Nobody is screaming, just calmly and rationally pointing out facts. You just choose to ignore them in favor of your team. Sad.

Except they are not quite facts. At best, they are intelligence estimates. And intel calls them "estimates" for a reason.

First, I've always found kind of a poetic justice in that Hillary, as Secretary of State, played fast and loose with information security in a way that would have landed me in Leavenworth for 20-40 had I done what she did, and survived prosecution, but the same inattention to security bit her presidential campaign in the butt.

Beyond that, most of this is still speculative. That's what intel is, high stakes speculation. Other than freak occurrences like Joe Rochefort or Bletchley Park, intel is never more than a best guess based on incomplete information.

Things that haven't been established factually, to the best of my knowledge, are that
- The information was hacked by "the Russians"
- Wikileaks got its information from "the Russians"
- There was any actual "collusion" between the Trump campaign and "the Russians"
- And most of all, that any "collusion" led to any conspiracy, which is actionable legally.

And if it's not criminal (unlike Hillary's server) then why are we still beating the dead horse 4 years later?

This report, like any intel-based analysis, is inherently speculative. I don't know that they have proof for any of their assertions. And without the ability to subpoena records from "the Russians" I don't know any way that they ever will.
