Memphis is moving to a digital ticketing platform for the 2020 season. This change will allow for a touchless experience while entering the game. Specific details, including how-to videos and instructions will be sent to fans who will have access to attending the game. Exact seat locations will also be delivered at that time.

Parking access will be limited to those attending games and tailgating is not permitted in any parking lot, including Tiger Lane. Parking instructions will be delivered as part of the digital ticket communication, and parking will only open two hours prior to kickoff.

For season ticket holders who have not yet made their selection in both the 6-foot and 12-foot social distancing scenarios, please visit http://www.KeepMemphisRoaring.com and click on the link to the online selection form. Fans who do not make a selection by the Aug. 19 deadline will be automatically enrolled in the "opt-in" to socially distanced seats in the 6-feet scenario and in the "donate" option in the 12-feet scenario. The tickets were already scanned, and, therefore, touchless. People come up the strangest explanations/justifications when they are doing something they know customers might not like. Saving money by not printing tickets, for example. and forcing you to use your smart phone to enter a game.

The Tiger Walk Thru will be virtual .... You can high five a computer monitor, or maybe even pat Brady White on the back from your home office.

I expect the city will have Tobey closed off. Not sure what they'll do over at the CBU lot.

So, apparently, my $15,000 Tailgating trailer with built-in TV, satellite dish, grill, microwave, etc. is going to sit out this season. I guess I can set it up beside my pool and have some family get-togethers to watch games on the Saturdays that I can't get Tiger tickets.

Luckily I live in Tipton County so the Shelby County Health Department can't stick their nose in that part of my business.

Biden yesterday said all governors should mandate mask wearing. Ok, no huge revelation there - you would expect him to say that.
Then he explained, which is where Biden, uh, struggles. He said everyone should be wearing a mask while OUTSIDE. He said this while he was sitting INSIDE not wearing a mask.

Action News 5 put a picture of him covering his eyes with the mask. And then they quoted him as saying: 'Every single American should be wearing a mask when they’re outside for the next three months at a minimum.'
