The conferences control the regular seasons that their teams play. The NCAA controls the National Championship Tournaments/Playoffs for all sponsored sports, except FBS Football.

So, with the cancellation of fall Championships, conferences can have their teams play games/matches, but there won’t be a National Championship at the end of the fall.

The understanding given is that if the NCAA does play out Championships for Fall Sports this Spring, they will be exclusive and only involve a few teams. The champion of the Sun Belt will likely have no spot

I think our only shot at any sort of postseason at Volleyball or Soccer will be playing in the Fall and trying to create a postseason with the other teams playing. If I am brutally honest, I do not anticipate the league even considering playing Fall sports this Spring. its either play Mid Pandemic, or wait till next fall.
